Here are some of the images that help describe our trip.
Last night we posted a view from our balcony. Facing the other direction we have a nice view of the Ponte Vecchio.
What else is there to say?
Don’t know much about Florence yet, except that it is crowded on Sunday.
Wendy and I keep arguing about what city is the “Gatlinburg” of Italy.
This is the definitive shot of the Amalfi Coast, and it is of Atrani.
Atrani is just around the last curve you can see in this picture.
Of course we visited St. Peter’s while at the Vatican. I took almost no shots in there because it was so overwhelming.
The highlight of our Vatican tour was a behind the scenes look at the artists that make the mosaics.
It just lasted from 10:00 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon.
We went to Pompeii on the way to Amalfi. Our guide was Delores and she is shown here with Wendy.
Our guide, Steve, picked us up at the hotel then we started at “the castle” and ended the day at the Colosseum.
Rex and Sgt. Blackhawk accompany us to the park.
